What you may do with these patterns

These patterns were written by other people and published free. This site retyped them into one layout and holds no rights in them. That means the answer to most questions on this page is “ask whoever wrote it”, and for 5 of the 18 patterns the link to ask is at the foot of the page.

Making the thing

Making them is what they were published for, whether you keep the result or give it away. Nobody involved objects to that.

Selling what you made

That depends on the original designer and it is stated on their page, not on this one. Where this site has the link it is on the pattern. Where it does not, this site cannot answer for them.

Copying the words

Reposting the instruction text, whole or in part, on another site, in a PDF, in a print run or as training data for a pattern generator, is not something this site is able to allow, because the words were never this site’s to give away.

The photographs

The 89 photographs belong to whoever published the patterns. They are here because the pattern is here.

Taking something down

If a pattern here is yours and you want it gone, the contact form removes it the same day and no reason is needed.
